Countless television programs and movies portray casual sex as “no big deal,” or even normal. But according to the scientific data, that view is all wrong. As it turns out, the brain chemistry associated with sex is exclusively conducive to marriage.

I think I’ll wait for the unbiased, peer review on this result of agenda-driven science. The whole idea that religious people found a way to corroborate their dogma through pseudo-science and their religious text tends to give rise to skepticism.
I wonder how this study would view Abraham or King David- highly venerated, non-monogamous, favored of god, prophets and kings?

Seriously… this is the stuff that makes Republicans appear the antiquated, confused bafoons that their policies espouse.
“I think even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something God intended to happen”
Screech… 180 degrees about face:
““God does not want rape, and by no means was I suggesting that He does”
Dissonance much? God intended it, but he doesn’t want it? Ah… it’s so clear now. What a fickle god you have.
Republicans: whenever you try to make universal laws based on anything that begins with “I believe”- you lose. Belief is irrelevant. Make laws based on scientific knowledge. It isn’t perfect, but it’s exponentially better than trudging along using something as personal, ever-changing and non-provable as belief.
Separation isn’t an option.
